It's Friday!

I am so so glad it's Friday! The last three weeks have been crazy hectic! While I am glad that I am venturing back to school for another degree-one that I will enjoy I might add. It is really tough to go back. I have just lost that school momentum. Study groups and group projects are just not as fun as they were the first time! Plus, everybody is like 8 years younger than I am. Don't get me wrong, I am plucking along, and I will make it! This is what I want to do, and I am gonna stick it out! But, boy will I will be glad when December of 2010 gets here!!

On another note, some know that I have been doing weight watchers since January. I have had really good results! I have lost about 15 pounds, which I think is great! Now, I gotta tone it up! I have stepped up the exercise this week! I have gotten on the treadmill 5 days this week and did weights and abs 3 days! That is really good for such a lazy girl as me! You gals that run 5 miles a day! More power to you! Maybe one day I will get there! But for today, I am proud of my treadmill work! Weight Watchers took away 4 of my points this week. Apparently they do that when you lose weight....what a bummer! It has been tough! Who knew 4 little points would make such a big dif! Score 2 for reasons to get on that treadmill though! You get a point for 30 minutes! Yesterday, I ate a banana and orange juice for breakfast. When I looked up my points, imagine my horror when I realized that cost me 4 POINTS! That's right you read it right 4 of my 20 points! I won't be making that mistake again! From now on, no more fruit juice for me! Water it is!

However, orange juice brings me to my last point. Good ole Vitamin C! I think I need it. Since I have been going to the kindergarten everyday, I have gotten sick 3 times this semester. The current ailment is PINK EYE...yea I know gross, right! I think it's from the kids....really I do. I love those little creatures, but I gotten tighten up the old immune system if I am planning on teaching! Anybody got any tips? I am not a big fan of the multi vitamin....not sure why, but I really have an aversion to taking those big monster pills. A girl told me yesterday that Air born is good. Hmmm....maybe I will try it. I know one thing though, I am not wasting a fifth of my daily weight watchers points on some OJ for the vitamin C. I will skip down to GNC and get some tablets!

Peace Out bloggers! I am headed to Pickwick for a fishing and boating weekend with the boyfriend and the puppy! The weather is supposed to be great! I need a little break!

An Awesome Discovery!!

So, I rarely blog because honestly I feel like my life is pretty boring right now! Everybody is blogging about their kids and such! No babies for me! Admittedly, I have become rather obbsessed with my dog! Seriously, I have become one of those unmarried pushing 30 woman who has a dog that is treated better than some people's kids! With that said, I recently made a wonderful discovery! Starkville has a dog park! That's right people! A park that caters to puppies! I found this out from my friend Katie who is equally obsessed with her dog! For you Starkville Natives, it is at Moncrief Park where we played Softball as kids. If you don't know where that is, it is on N Jackson St! The dog park is at the back behind the pool! They have two pens, so you can choose which you put your dog in. The dogs just run and play together! There are benches and picnic tables so the owners just sit and study or chat! If you have a dog, I strongly reccommend you check it out! Your dog will have a blast and admit it, you could use some fresh air and sunshine yourself! They even have a water fountain for the pups! Goosey had a swell time, and we will definately make another visit soon! He is looking for a lady friend!

Here is he chasing the ladies!
It looks like recess at an elementary school!

Goosey made a friend!

A water fountain for dogs! What a scream!
